Product Description
FOX DECODUR K/R is a ready-to-use decorative render composed of acrylic, mineral fillers, and polymer additives, featuring self-cleaning properties, photocatalytic effect, and UV resistance. It complies with EN 15824:2017. With high water vapour permeability (V₁) and capillary water absorption class W₂, it allows the structure to breathe while repelling water. The product has a fire resistance class of EN 13501-1 A2-s1,d0 and can be safely used on interior and exterior facades, on plastered and cement-based surfaces, on INNO-THERM ETICS systems, and on surfaces finished with aerated concrete render. It offers a wide aesthetic range with different grain sizes (K 0.2 to K 4.0) and scratch texture options (R 2.0, R 3.0). Can be tinted in all colour shades of the Fox Bau system.
Advantages
- High water vapour permeability.
- Water-repellent properties.
- Resistant to mould and algae.
- Ideal working time.
- Provides crack control and is impact resistant.
- Ready to use.
- Can be tinted in all colour shades of the Fox Bau system.

Application Steps
- 1
Surface Preparation
Surfaces to be treated must be sound, free from all dust and dirt, and level. Dusty or friable mineral-based surfaces, as well as surfaces exposed to wind and heat, must be consolidated prior to application using the decorative render primer FOX DECODUR PUTZGRUND FB310.
- 2
Mixing
FOX DECODUR K/R is ready to use. If necessary, it can be brought to a workable consistency by adding a maximum of 1% water. Before application, the material must be thoroughly mixed until homogeneous.
- 3
Application
On large surfaces, areas of approximately 20 m² should be marked off with masking tape to avoid joints and ensure consistent colour transitions. After thoroughly mixing FOX DECODUR K/R until homogeneous, it should be spread evenly over the surface at a uniform thickness using a stainless steel trowel. Depending on the desired finish, a pattern can be applied to the surface using a steel or plastic float. The masking tape must be carefully removed before FOX DECODUR K/R sets.

Tool Cleaning
All tools and equipment used must be cleaned with water before the material dries.
Application must not be carried out if the ambient or surface temperature is below +5°C or above +30°C; suitable temperatures must be awaited.
Application must not be carried out in extremely hot, rainy, or very windy weather.
For outdoor applications, the surface must be protected from sunlight, rain, wind, and frost for the first 24 hours.
High temperatures accelerate hydration and the working time is shortened accordingly. Low temperatures slow down hydration and extend the working time.
The substrate temperature and ambient temperature must not fall below the permitted minimum temperature for the material to cure properly.
The product must be stored in its original unopened packaging, in a dry and cool environment (between +5°C and +30°C), protected from sunlight and frost. Shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
Opened packages must be resealed and consumed within 1 week.
Pallets must never be stacked on top of each other during storage. Shipment must follow a first-in, first-out system.
Approaching storage and application areas with open flames is dangerous; these areas must be ventilated.
Work clothing, protective gloves, goggles, and a mask must be worn during application.
Contact with skin and eyes must be avoided; in case of contact, wash thoroughly with plenty of water and soap; if swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
Food and beverages must not be brought into application areas. Must be stored out of reach of children.
The technical values above are given for conditions of +23°C and 50% relative humidity.
