FOX DECODUR ST is a silicone-modified acrylic copolymer emulsion-based, self-cleaning, photocatalytic, UV-resistant, fine-textured decorative topcoat suitable for unique surfaces. Its ready-to-use formulation offers easy application in interior and exterior facade applications. It meets TS 7847 standard G3-E5-S4-V2-W3 requirements. Thanks to its high water vapour permeability and water-repellent properties, it protects facade surfaces for a long time. It can be applied in a wide range of colours with the FOX Bau colour system. Unique surface patterns can be created using a stainless steel trowel with cross and straight movements.

Application Steps

Surface Preparation
Cement-based surfaces to be coated must be sound, free from all dust and dirt, and level. Dusty, crumbling mineral-based surfaces and cement-based surfaces exposed to windy and hot conditions must be consolidated with FOX DECODUR PRIMER prior to application.

Mixing
Before application, the material must be thoroughly mixed until a homogeneous consistency is achieved.

Area Definition
On large surfaces, areas of 20 m² each should be defined with masking tape to avoid joints and ensure consistent colour transitions.

Application
FOX DECODUR ST should be spread evenly over the FOX DECODUR K series using a stainless steel trowel. Patterns can be created on the surface using cross and straight movements with the stainless steel trowel. Adhesive tapes must be carefully removed before the product hardens.

Tool Cleaning
All tools and equipment used must be cleaned with water before they dry after application.

If the ambient and surface temperature is below +5°C or above +30°C, application should not be carried out; suitable temperatures must be awaited.

Application should not be carried out in extremely hot, rainy or very windy weather.

In outdoor applications, the surface must be protected from sun, rain, wind and frost for the first 24 hours.

High temperatures accelerate hydration and shorten the working time; low temperatures slow hydration and extend the working time. The substrate and ambient temperature must not fall below the permitted minimum value for complete curing.

Adhesive tapes must be carefully removed before FOX DECODUR ST hardens.
Important
When stored correctly at room temperature, away from direct sunlight, between +5°C and +30°C, the shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture. Opened packages must be resealed and consumed within 1 week.

Must be stored in its original unopened packaging, in a cool and dry environment, protected from frost.
Important
Work clothing, protective gloves, goggles and a mask must be worn during application.

Must not come into contact with skin or eyes; in case of contact, wash thoroughly with plenty of water and soap; if swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.

It is dangerous to approach storage and application areas with open flames; these areas must be ventilated.
Important
Food and beverages must not be brought into application areas. Must be stored out of reach of children.
