Product Description
FOX MULTIFUGA HF FX144 is a cement-based, high-performance grout containing specially selected fillers, synthetic additives, polymers and special cements. Thanks to its formulation resistant to bacteria and pool chemicals, it can be safely applied in Turkish baths, saunas, spas and swimming pools. It has been developed for use in joint widths of 1–8 mm for materials such as ceramic, marble, granite, natural stone, glass mosaic and porcelain tiles. It complies with the TS EN 13888 - CG2 (Cement-Based Grout with Improved Additional Properties) class. Its high density minimises soiling; it is resistant to freeze-thaw cycles and acidic cleaners.

Surface Preparation
Before starting the grouting application, the adhesive must be allowed to gain sufficient strength; a waiting period of 48 hours is generally adequate. Mortar residues in the joints must be cleaned out and the joints cleared. Highly absorbent materials must be moistened before filling the joints.

Mixing
Pour the amount of clean water specified on the packaging into a clean mixing container. Open the bag of FOX MULTIFUGA HF FX144 and slowly add it to the water while mixing with a drill mixer at 400–600 rpm for approximately 4 minutes until homogeneous. There must be no lumps in the material. Allow the material to rest for 30 seconds, then mix again for 1 minute until ready for application. Use approximately 200±10 ml of water per 1 kg of product, or 4.0±0.25 lt for a 20 kg bag.

Application
FOX MULTIFUGA HF FX144 is applied to the surface using a hard rubber float or a mortar gun. Excess material on the surface must be removed. Once the material has become resistant to finger pressure (approximately 20 minutes depending on ambient temperature), clean the surface with a damp sponge.

Tool and Equipment Cleaning
Tools and equipment used must be cleaned with water after application. Once FOX MULTIFUGA HF FX144 has hardened, it can only be removed from the surface mechanically.

Application temperature must not fall below +5°C. Low temperatures extend the curing time; high temperatures shorten it.

After grouting, the surface must not come into contact with water for at least 24 hours.

Before starting the grouting application, wait at least 48 hours for the adhesive to gain sufficient strength.

Using varying amounts of mixing water causes colour variations in the grout; application must be carried out without changing the water quantity.

Excessive water will weaken the material and may lead to powdering and cracking.

Once FOX MULTIFUGA HF FX144 has hardened, it can only be removed from the surface mechanically; tools and equipment must be cleaned with water immediately after application.

Store in the original unopened packaging in a cool, dry place, protected from frost. For short-term storage, stack no more than 3 pallets high. For long-term storage, pallets must not be stacked on top of each other.

Opened packaging must be resealed and consumed within 1 week.

Wear work clothing, protective gloves, goggles and a mask during application. Avoid contact with skin and eyes; in case of contact, wash thoroughly with plenty of water and soap. If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.

Keep open flames away from storage and application areas; ensure adequate ventilation.
Important
Food and beverages must not be brought into application areas. Store out of reach of children.
