Product Description
FOX GAZ BETON YAPIŞTIRICISI is a ready-to-use masonry mortar containing special cement, mineral fillers and polymer additives, with high water absorption capacity. It complies with the TS EN 998-2 standard. It can be safely used for laying aerated concrete, pumice and brick walls as well as roof ridge bonding in both interior and exterior applications. Its high adhesion strength, long workability time (≥240 minutes) and easy-to-prepare structure save time and labour.
Advantages
- Partially resistant to water, moisture and frost.
- Easy to prepare and apply.
- Has an ideal application time.
- Has high adhesion strength.
- Saves time and labour.
- Economical.
Usage Areas
- Suitable for interior and exterior use.
- Can be applied in residential buildings, shopping centres and hospitals.
- Used for bonding roof ridges.
- Used in wall-laying applications with pumice, brick and aerated concrete.
Application Steps
- 1
Surface Preparation
Surfaces to be treated must be sound, free of dust and dirt, and level. Areas requiring repair must be repaired with INNO-CRETE series repair mortars at least 1 day in advance. If the surface temperature is above +20°C, the surface should be lightly dampened.
- 2
Mixing
The amount of water indicated on the packaging (approximately 6.00 ± 0.25 litres for a 25 kg bag) is poured into a clean mixing container. FOX GAZ BETON YAPIŞTIRICISI is slowly added to the water and mixed with a drill mixer at 400–600 rpm for approximately 3–4 minutes until a homogeneous consistency is achieved. The material is left to rest for 3 minutes and then mixed again for 1 minute before use. No lumps should remain in the material.
- 3
Application
A 1 mm thick layer of FOX GAZ BETON YAPIŞTIRICISI is applied to the application surface using the flat side of the trowel. Within the open time of 15–20 minutes, a notched trowel is used to comb the material in a single direction over an area of aerated concrete that can be covered within that time, ensuring a uniform thickness. The laid aerated concrete blocks must be tapped from above and from the sides to align them with the string line and screed. After application, the surface must be protected against adverse weather conditions such as sunlight, strong wind, high temperatures (≥+30°C), rain and frost.

Tool Cleaning
Tools and equipment used after application must be cleaned with water. Once FOX GAZ BETON YAPIŞTIRICISI has hardened, it can only be removed from surfaces mechanically.
Application should not be carried out if the ambient and surface temperature is below +5°C or above +30°C; suitable temperatures must be awaited.
Application should not be carried out in extremely hot, rainy or very windy weather.
For outdoor applications, the surface must be protected from sunlight, rain, wind and frost for the first 24 hours.
For the material to complete its curing, the applied substrate temperature and ambient temperature must not fall below the permitted minimum temperature.
Working and reaction times of cement-based mortars are affected by air temperature, humidity and substrate temperatures. High temperatures accelerate hydration and shorten working time; low temperatures extend working time.
Opened packages must be resealed and consumed within 1 week.
Before the product hardens, hands and application tools must be cleaned with water and detergent. Once hardened, it can only be removed from surfaces mechanically.
Work clothing, protective gloves, goggles and a mask must be worn during application. Avoid contact with skin and eyes; in case of contact, wash thoroughly with plenty of water and soap. If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
It is dangerous to approach storage and application areas with open flames; areas must be ventilated.
Must be stored out of reach of children.
Store between +5°C and +30°C, away from direct sunlight, in a cool and dry environment. Shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
For short-term storage, pallets must not be stacked more than 3 high; for long-term storage, pallets must not be stacked on top of each other. Shipment must follow a first-in, first-out system.
