Product Description
FOX POLFIBER M12 is a 100% polypropylene fibre material that wraps around the aggregate within concrete and mortar through its fibrillated network structure, forming a composite matrix. With a 12 mm fibre length and rectangular cross-section geometry, the product disperses easily in the concrete mix; it prevents crack formation and imparts flexural strength, impermeability and resistance to fire damage to the concrete. The transparent fibre, with a density of 0.91 gr/cm³, can be added to fresh concrete at a batching plant or on site; a minimum of 1 pack (600 gr) per 1 m³ of concrete is recommended.

Batching Plant Application
It is recommended to add FOX POLFIBER M12 directly to the concrete mix at the batching plant. If mixing is carried out at the plant, the product is added to half of the mixing water to allow it to disperse in the water; the other concrete components are then added to the mix together with the remaining water.

Adding to Fresh Concrete on Site
If it is necessary to add the product to fresh concrete on site, the mixing time should be extended by a further 3–5 minutes to ensure homogeneity.
The product must be stored between +5°C and +30°C, away from direct sunlight, in a cool and dry environment. It must be protected from frost.
If material stored in unsuitable conditions freezes, it should be left at room temperature without applying direct heat until thawed, then mixed mechanically until homogeneous. Compressed air must not be used during mixing.
If added to fresh concrete on site, the mixing time should be extended by a further 3–5 minutes to ensure homogeneity.
Approaching storage and application areas with open flame is dangerous; these areas must be adequately ventilated.
During application, appropriate work clothing, protective gloves, goggles and a mask in accordance with occupational health and safety regulations must be worn.
The product must not be allowed to come into contact with skin or eyes. In case of contact, wash immediately with plenty of water and soap. If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
Food and beverages must not be brought into application areas. The product must be stored out of reach of children.
For short-term storage, pallets must not be stacked more than 3 high and shipments must follow a first-in, first-out system. For long-term storage, pallets must not be stacked on top of one another.
Shelf life is 24 months from the date of manufacture under correct storage conditions. Opened packages can be resealed and used within the shelf life.
The technical values above are given for conditions of +23°C and 50% relative humidity. Higher temperatures shorten the time; lower temperatures extend it.
