Product Description
FOX ACURE FR570 is an acrylic polymer-based curing compound applied to freshly placed concrete and screeds. The film layer it forms retains water within the concrete, ensuring optimum strength development; it prevents rapid drying and reduces shrinkage cracks. It meets the ASTM C 309 Type 2 Class B standard. It has a wide range of applications, from site concrete and road and pavement applications to channel and drainage concrete and screed applications. Its ready-to-use formulation offers practical application; it can be easily applied by spray or roller.
Key Benefits
- Ensures optimum strength development in freshly placed concrete and screeds.
- Reduces shrinkage cracks, preserving structural integrity.
- More practical than curing methods such as water curing.
- Delivers more effective curing performance compared to paraffin-based cures.
- Ready-to-use formulation reduces labour time and cost.
Advantages
- Ready to use.
- Applicable to all types of concrete surfaces.
- Reduces shrinkage cracks caused by rapid surface water loss.
- Provides a harder surface.
- More effective curing than paraffin-based cures.
- Easy to apply, reduces labour costs.
- More practical than curing methods such as water curing.
- Used where water curing is not possible.
Usage Areas
- All types of site concrete
- Concrete pavement and road applications
- Channel and drainage concrete
- Surface hardener applications
- All types of reinforced concrete structural elements
- Screed applications
Application Steps
- 1
Surface Preparation
FOX ACURE FR570 is applied to the screeded surfaces of site, road, and floor concrete, and to the surfaces of formed concrete that have lost their sheen after formwork removal. The surface must be ready for application.
- 2
Application
FOX ACURE FR570 must be applied uniformly onto freshly placed concrete or screed by spraying or roller. The spray method is recommended for a uniform finish. When applying by roller, the material must be distributed in a thin, even layer and ponding must not be allowed to occur.
- 3
Double-Coat Application (Open/Windy Conditions)
To ensure effective curing in open and windy conditions, FOX ACURE FR570 must be applied in two coats. The waiting time between coats must be a maximum of 6 hours; for two-coat application, the total consumption should be planned at 300 gr/m².
- 4
Cleaning Before Subsequent Coating
If a subsequent coating is to be applied over surfaces treated with FOX ACURE FR570, the curing layer must be completely removed from the surface by solvent washing or mechanical abrasion methods.
Spray application of FOX ACURE FR570 onto the concrete surface is recommended to achieve a uniform finish.
The effective duration of applied FOX ACURE FR570 may vary depending on film thickness, weather conditions, degree of UV exposure, and the condition of the concrete surface.

The product must be stored between +5°C and +30°C, away from direct sunlight, in a cool and dry environment. It must be protected from frost.
If the product freezes, it must be thawed at room temperature without the use of direct heat and mixed mechanically until homogeneous. Compressed air must not be used during mixing.
Approaching storage and application areas with open flame is dangerous. Storage and application areas must be ventilated.
During application, appropriate work clothing, protective gloves, goggles, and a mask must be worn in accordance with occupational health and safety regulations. Contact with skin and eyes must be avoided; in case of contact, wash thoroughly with plenty of water and soap. If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
Must be stored out of reach of children. Food and beverages must not be brought into application areas.
Shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture. Opened containers can be resealed and used within the shelf life.
The technical values above are given at +23°C and 50% relative humidity. Higher temperatures shorten the time; lower temperatures extend it.
