Product Description

Epothane is a family in which the floor load and the chemical exposure determine the system choice. Antistatic, decorative or self-levelling finishes allow different performance classes to be built on the same base; as the layer thickness increases, abrasion and impact resistance rise.

Application Steps

Surface Preparation
The floor is opened by milling or shot blasting; dust, oil and loose particles are removed completely.

Astar
A primer suited to the surface moisture is selected; quartz sand is broadcast onto the fresh primer.

Ara Katmanlar
Depending on the system type, a waterproofing and/or wear layer is applied.

Son Kat
The top coat is applied in the selected colour and left to cure in a dust-free environment.

Which surfaces can the system be applied to?

Applied to sound, load-bearing floors with sufficient tensile strength. Surface moisture must not exceed 4%.

When can it be put into service after application?

Light use is possible 24 hours after the top coat, and full load after 7 days.

Can it be applied over an existing coating?

If the adhesion and strength of the existing coating are sufficient, it can be applied after surface preparation.

Kritik

Surface moisture must not exceed 4%. At high moisture the primer adhesion drops and blistering occurs.

Important

Application must not proceed without observing the waiting times between coats.

Slight shade differences may occur between production batches; using a single batch in the same area is recommended.

FOX EPOTHANE® PRIMER HB is a two-component, solvent-free, low-viscosity transparent epoxy primer set developed for dry and damp concrete and steel surfaces. It is used as a primer under epoxy and polyurethane floor coatings.

Suitable for interior and exterior use.
Can be applied and fully cures below +10°C and up to 100% relative humidity.
Provides good corrosion protection on steel.

FOX EPOTHANE® PRIMER

FOX EPOTHANE® PRIMER is an epoxy-based, two-component, solvent-free and low-viscosity transparent primer. It is used to provide high bond strength before epoxy and polyurethane floor coatings.

Suitable for interior and exterior use.
Can accept a high proportion of fillers.

RETENTION AND DESTRUCTION PERIODS FOR PERSONAL DATA

At the end of this period, the data will be deleted, destroyed or anonymised in full compliance with the KVKK. In order to protect your personal data and to prevent unlawful access to it, our Company takes the necessary administrative and technical measures in line with the Personal Data Security Guide published by the Personal Data Protection Authority, draws up internal procedures, prepares disclosure and explicit consent texts and, pursuant to Article 12/3 of the KVKK, carries out, or has carried out through external services, the audits necessary to ensure the implementation of the provisions of the KVKK.

WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, everyone has the following rights concerning themselves by applying to the data controller:
