Product Description
FOX BETON RP25 is a factory-mixed, ready-to-use dry concrete/screed mortar with a cement base, polymer additives, fibre reinforcement, and C25 concrete strength. Thanks to its polymer and fibre additives, it prevents crack formation; its homogeneous factory-mixed composition ensures consistent and high strength at every point of application. The product is used for repairing surface defects and eliminating level differences on interior and exterior surfaces, achieving a smooth trowelled finish, and for door/window lintels, beams, and floor screeds. It can be applied in thicknesses ranging from 10 mm to 100 mm.

Surface Preparation
The substrate must be clean, dry, dust-free, and sound; it must not be frozen, or show salt/lime efflorescence. Cement, plaster, gypsum, and similar materials on the surface must be removed; weak concrete fragments must be eliminated, and small voids and holes must be fully opened up. The resulting dust must be removed with an industrial vacuum cleaner.

Priming
To improve adhesion, the surface must be primed using the wet-on-wet application method. The priming mixture is prepared by mixing 1 part cement, 1 part FOX BINDER FM125, and 2 parts water. The mixture, brought to a brush-applicable consistency, is spread homogeneously at a consumption rate of 0.35 kg/m² onto the surface that has been cleaned and dampened 12 hours in advance. FOX BETON RP25 must be applied over the primer before it dries.

Mixing
For mortar consistency: approximately 85–90 ml of water per 1 kg of FOX BETON RP25 (approximately 2.125–2.25 litres of water per 25 kg bag) should be used. For dry screed consistency: approximately 70–80 ml of water per 1 kg of FOX BETON RP25 (approximately 1.75–2.0 litres of water per 25 kg bag) should be used. The specified water quantities must not be exceeded.

Application
FOX BETON RP25 should be mixed in a bucket using a concrete mixer or hand mixer for 4–5 minutes until homogeneous. It is spread and levelled with a trowel or the necessary hand tools. Premature drying of the mortar must be prevented; it must be allowed to cure under natural conditions. Depending on weather conditions, a trowelled finish can be applied to the surface approximately 1.5–2 hours later using a finishing trowel.

Curing
If external conditions are very harsh during the first week after application, the surface must be covered or kept moist. The mortar must not be forced to dry by draught or external factors.

Application should not be carried out if the ambient and surface temperature is below +5°C or above +25°C; suitable temperatures must be awaited.

Exceeding the mixing water quantities specified in the technical documentation will result in a loss of strength in the product.

There is a risk of cracking and failure to achieve the required strength if the mortar is forced to dry by draught or external factors.

Store in the original unopened packaging in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and protected from frost. Shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture (stored between +5°C and +30°C).

The working and reaction times of cement-based systems are affected by ambient/substrate temperature and relative humidity; reactions slow down at low temperatures and accelerate at high temperatures.

The technical values above are given for +23°C and 50% relative humidity conditions.

During application, appropriate work clothing, protective gloves, goggles, and a mask must be worn in accordance with occupational health and safety regulations. Avoid contact with skin and eyes; in case of contact, wash thoroughly with plenty of water and soap.
