FOX PLUG FC340 is a cement-based plugging mortar containing special mineral fillers and binders, capable of instantly stopping active water leaks. The product becomes workable within 1–2 minutes and achieves full cure in 3–4 minutes. This mortar, used for waterproofing and repair purposes, complies with TS EN 1504-3 standard Class R2. It can be applied in powder form or mixed with water as a mortar. As it contains no chlorides, it does not harm reinforcement. A waterproofing material can be applied over it 10–15 minutes after application.

Surface Preparation
Surfaces to be repaired must be sound and free from all dust, oil, and residues. Cold joints and cracks must be opened to a minimum depth and width of 20 mm in a conical shape.

Mixing
240 grams of water should be added to 1 kg of FOX PLUG FC340. 1.68 litres of water should be added to the 7 kg package.

Application as Mortar
Place the amount of material to be consumed within 1 minute into a clean application container and add water according to the mixing ratio. Mix by hand using gloves with appropriate protective properties. Apply immediately to leaks and holes and press by hand for a while.

Application as Powder
Take some material in your palm and press it onto the leak in a single motion. Rub and press with your hand until the material sets. Gloves must be worn during this process.

Tool and Equipment Cleaning
Tools and equipment used after application must be cleaned immediately with water. Once FOX PLUG FC340 has hardened, it can only be removed from the surface mechanically.

During FOX PLUG FC340 application, if the ambient and substrate temperature is below +5°C or above +30°C, appropriate temperature conditions must be provided or application must be postponed.

FOX PLUG FC340 sets as a result of elevated hydration heat. For this reason, it must be kept moist for 10–15 minutes after application.

Working and reaction times of cement-based repair mortars are affected by air temperature, humidity, and substrate temperature. High temperatures accelerate hydration and shorten working time; low temperatures extend working time.

In cold weather, to achieve workability of the material, it should be conditioned in a warm environment between +20°C and +25°C, and the mix should be prepared with warm water.

Shelf life is 6 months from the date of manufacture. Opened packages must be consumed within 1 week with the openings sealed.

Store in original unopened packaging in a cool, dry place, protected from frost. For short-term storage, stack no more than 3 pallets high. For long-term storage, pallets must not be stacked on top of each other.

During application, appropriate work clothing, protective gloves, goggles, and a mask must be worn in accordance with occupational health and safety regulations.

During storage and application, the product must not come into contact with skin or eyes. In case of contact, wash immediately with plenty of water and soap; if swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.

Storage and application areas must be ventilated. Food and beverages must not be brought into application areas. Store out of reach of children.
