FOX ADMENT FM561 is a naphthalene sulphonate-based, set-retarding, high-range water-reducing / superplasticising concrete admixture that imparts Rheoplastic properties to concrete and increases its ultimate strengths. Product Description
FOX ADMENT FM561 is a naphthalene sulphonate-based, set-retarding, high-range water-reducing / superplasticising concrete admixture that imparts Rheoplastic properties to concrete and increases its ultimate strengths. It meets the requirements of TS EN 934-2 Tables 11.1 and 11.2. Chloride-free. Its brown liquid formulation integrates easily into the concrete mix. It delivers high performance during long transport times, at elevated ambient temperatures, and in critical mass concrete pours by maintaining the workability of the concrete.

Application Steps

Mixing the Materials
The binder (such as cement, microsilica, fly ash, slag) and aggregates should be mixed until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

Adding the Water
After 50–70% of the mixing water has been added to the mix, FOX ADMENT FM561 should be added together with the remaining water.

Dispersing the Admixture
FOX ADMENT FM561 should be mixed for preferably 60 seconds, or for the duration determined by laboratory tests, to ensure homogeneous dispersion within the mix.

Determining the Dosage
A dosage of 1.0–2.0 kg per 100 kg of binder (such as cement, microsilica, fly ash, slag) is recommended. The exact dosage must be determined in advance by laboratory tests according to the concrete class and properties.

After 50–70% of the mixing water has been added, FOX ADMENT FM561 should be added to the mix together with the remaining water; preferably mixed for 60 seconds or for the duration determined by laboratory tests.
The product must be stored between +5°C and +30°C, away from direct sunlight and protected from freezing. Shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
Frozen product must be thawed at room temperature without the use of direct heat and mixed mechanically until homogeneous. Compressed air must not be used during mixing.
High temperatures shorten the time and low temperatures extend it. Technical property values are given for +23°C and 50% relative humidity conditions.
Approaching storage and application areas with open flame is dangerous; areas must be ventilated.
Work clothing, protective gloves, goggles and a mask must be worn during application. Contact with skin and eyes must be avoided; in case of contact, wash thoroughly with water and soap; if swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
Food and beverages must not be brought into application areas. Store out of reach of children.
For short-term storage, a first-in first-out dispatch system should be used. For long-term storage, pallets must not be stacked on top of each other.
